It’s no surprise that there is a winter “lull” for wedding professionals in Northwest Ohio. It’s a just natural. There’s less light and less “degrees” to work with. AKA- it’s cold! But this Toledo winter engagement session was the perfect way to break up those winter blues.
I’m always amazed by all of the things that happen in a year. 365 days. And yet it feels like it was only ten days.
Rain, rain- looks like you’re here to stay. We’ll do our engagement session anyway!
The last two weeks could honestly not have been more perfect for fall sessions. Including this engagement session that includes some of my new favorites!
This has been my busiest wedding year to date. I mean, why not add being a new mom into the mix? But time flies when you’re having fun. Yep- I went there.
This wedding is giving me all the feels- about everything. As I edited throughout the week, I experienced some self discovery and maybe even some breakthroughs in my thought process as a photographer.
August was a free month for me. And let me tell you- it came and went. I had a busy stretch through June and am now heading into another busy stretch in September. Starting with this beauty.
With May-early July being a busy stretch of weddings, this month has been a nice break to slow down and gear up for the second half of my wedding season. But engagement sessions like these are what gets me hyped up to get back out and into doing what I love.
After a rainy start to my wedding season, I’ve definitely been loving these warm summer wedding days. And not only that, but outdoor ceremonies and open air dance floors- double bonus!
