Clayton and Amanda’s wedding this weekend was my dream! I love everything shabby-chic!! And Amanda made every one of [our] Pinterest dreams a reality. From her blush tones in the bouquets and bridesmaid dresses, to the beautiful barn draped with curtains, magnolia leaves, and a killer chandelier, this wedding was every shabby-chic bride’s dream come true.
I introduced Clayton and Amanda only about a month ago in a blog post here. Despite them thinking they weren’t “good at taking pictures”, these two are extremely photogenic. Why? Not just because they are two good-looking people, but because they adore each other and know how to laugh with each other. Their love radiates through these images and makes my heart swell just looking at them!
Their wedding was hosted on a beautiful, private residence where we had 40 acres to play with! They decided to get the pre-wedding jitters out by doing an intimate first look. Simply lovely. The look on Clayton’s face was sweet admiration for his stunning bride, coupled with some sweet tears (sorry Clayton, had to). We were able to capture some gorgeous images before the rain came, and thankfully the rain held off for some more images after the ceremony. I loved getting to work with these two! Amanda’s sense of style and every meticulous detail was exciting, and their joy for each other was even better. Happy marriage you two!
