September is a beautiful month to get married in Northwest Ohio. Jonathon and Samantha’s Ole Zim’s wedding was no exception to this!
The details that Samantha incorporated in their wedding day were the shabby-chic, DIY bride’s dream. Even the floral arrangements were created with wood flowers (so cool right?!) arranged by Jonathon’s mother. The colors and theme were consistent throughout the day. I personally loved the bridesmaid dresses, which were different colors and styles. And while they did incorporate color, they were all very natural, organic shades that looked very cohesive.
After meeting Jonathon and Samantha a few months ago at their engagement session, I was so excited to see these two become husband and wife. Jonathon is such a respectful gentleman who, no doubt, adores his bride, and Samantha is crazy about him. I felt nostalgic at their wedding as that’s where I had my own wedding reception. Ole Zim’s is the perfect Ohio wedding venue for both the shabby and the shabby chic couple.
We all know that 2020 has been a beyond bizarre year. For me, it’s meant an abbreviated wedding season and delays into next year. I couldn’t imagine being a bride faced with the decisions they have had to make this year. There was no right or wrong decision, just what each individual thought was best for them. And I don’t think Jonathon and Samantha regret their decision to keep their wedding day. The weather was perfect and the day was just beautiful. And, most of all, they are finally husband and wife! Congratulations you two!
