It seems crazy that it’s July and I’m now just saying this; but my wedding season finally came in full swing this weekend- starting with this gorgeous Downtown Toledo wedding.
We all know planning a wedding is stressful. But add in a vendor that goes silent, a pandemic, and a closed venue, and you might really start to panic. That’s exactly what happened to Todd and Erica.
When the pandemic first hit, Erica was trying to hold off moving their wedding date for as long as possible. Then their reception venue ended up closing, which not only forced them to change their date, but also their entire venue.
My heart sank for these two. But Erica seemed to deal with everything with such grace. I’m sure there were lots of tears and anxiety behind the scenes; but now that it’s all said and done, I’m pretty sure these two have nothing but joy when it comes to the memory of their actual wedding day.
T & E relocated their Downtown Toledo Wedding venue to the beautiful Renaissance Hotel. I can only imagine when it started raining sideways as they were getting ready that Erica thought “go figure”, after everything that had already happened surrounding planning their day. But thankfully the rain decided to stop at just the right time during their portraits. The timing honestly could not have been better. (Not that the rain would have stopped us anyway. I had so many beautiful rainy wedding days last year- like this one.)
I think once we made it to the church and Erica finally walked down that aisle toward Todd, we all took one big sigh of relief. It finally happened for these two and it was the most beautiful thing.
