Picture this: cool September evening walking along the shores of Lake Erie mid-September with your love. I don’t know about you, but that sounds pretty darn good to me. Why not add in an engagement session with it?
The engagement session, in my opinion, is one of the most important components of your relationship with your wedding photographer. We get to interact with each other, learn each other, and just get comfortable working together. And for me, I get even more excited for wedding day after I get home to gorgeous images like these. During bride and groom portraits at my last wedding, the groom mentioned several times how he couldn’t believe how much more relaxed and comfortable he felt after having done their engagement session. Win!
Molly and Daniel are such a laid back, sweet couple. Their session felt like I was just hanging out with a few friends and secretly capturing their love story in the meantime. Everything felt so natural and organic. This engagement session is also a memorable one for me as it’s the first time I shot an engagement session with both digital and film (yay for hybrid photography) The beauty of this was getting to see their gorgeous images right when I got home and then waiting in sweet (and let’s be honest, impatient) anticipation of the film scans to get back. It was like Christmas morning getting that email in my inbox and opening up to such amazingness. Daniel and Molly- September 2018 was fun, but I SO look forward to September 2019!
