You all know I love shooting a good engagement session. I mean, I’m a wedding photographer. Weddings, engagements, and couples are my passion. So take an engagement session + an epic engagement party. Um yes, I would love to be a part of that!
Amanda contacted me a few months ago about shooting her engagement party. I’ll be honest, I had no idea what to expect. I’ve never been asked to shoot one before (but heck I love trying new things!) When she said it would be at Nazareth Hall, my interest was definitely piqued. We’re talking about a gorgeous wedding venue- for an engagement party. She vaguely described some details that she was DIY-ing, so again, I really had no expectations. So you can imagine my awe and instant thoughts of “HOLY CRAP I’M IN HEAVEN” when I walked into their venue and saw all the gorgeous details that she put together. The most beautiful place settings decorated with personalized tiles for their guests, marble textured menus, and beautiful floral arrangements that Amanda put together herself are just a few of my favorite things about this. Also not to mention the dessert table of your dreams!
But most importantly- Abbas and Amanda. This was the first time I got to meet them and they were just sweetest couple. Amanda has such a kind soul- something I picked up on quickly with my own interaction with her and just listening to the guests’ conversations around me. Abbas is also such a genuinely nice guy. I mean- look at his smile. You can tell just looking at him he’s a nice guy. I had to include the picture of him and his mom because I just absolutely love their smiles- he definitely gets it from her! Both Amanda and Abbas came dressed to the nines and looked absolutely fabulous (again, photographer’s dream- #amiright?)
All in all, I had such a blast shooting such an amazing couple and beautiful details. They also had an epic dance party that continued on long after I left I’m sure. I can’t even begin to imagine how epic their wedding next April will be after witnessing such an amazing engagement party. Congrats you two!
