Happy Wonderful Wednesday my friends! Can’t believe I’m already in the middle of a two-weekends-in-a-row wedding stretch. We are now four days out from Angela and Andy’s sweet day and I just loved capturing this fun couple’s wedding day.
So it has pretty much been a drought here this summer in Northwest Ohio. HOT and no rain. Literally. Our lawn was just mowed last week for the first time in at least six weeks (no we don’t water our lawn and yes it is partially brown). And then, what do you know? Rain. And not just rain, a torrential downpour the hours before and during the ceremony. I had pretty much accepted that we wouldn’t be taking any photos outdoors. Which was okay, I did have a backup plan, but I do LOVE me some natural, outdoor light. I’m not going to lie, I was secretly praying “Lord, maybe just a little break so we can go outside for some quick shots.” And just like that, as soon as the ceremony ended, the rain cleared up and we had sunshine people! God is good! We had a great time taking pictures in downtown Toledo including the Main Library- who knew some GORGEOUS pictures were to be had in there! And the fun continued through the rest of the evening with a LOT of dancing! This family knows how to get down (as you can see with the bride, her dad, brother, and nephew)! Congrats Angela and Andy- may every day be just as joyful as this one!
Amazing photos !!
